How Geothermal Energy works
No matter what climate you live in, the temperature throughout the year varies. For some locales that means blazing summers that cool to frigid winters. What many people don’t realize is that the temperature about 30 feet below ground stays fairly consistent all year. While air temperatures can vary greatly from day to night or winter to summer, the temperature just a few feet below the earth’s surface stays an average 50°-70°F year-round.

Our geothermal systems are efficient and clean to operate. Since no combustion is involved, you reduce or eliminate risks such as Carbon Monoxide poisoning. Geothermal technology uses free, renewable energy from the Earth instead of flammable fossil fuels, making the entire system cleaner and safer.

Our geothermal systems can pay for the post-incentive installation cost in as little as three to five years. The time you put into optimizing the design and installation means a lot to me.
I did the math. By the time you account for gas piping, combustion venting, electrical and structural work required for a conventional system, I think the Geothermal System is cheaper in the first place and then the operating cost and maintenance are lower.
The Geothermal System is so much more comfortable than our oil system was. My back of the envelope calculation is that we are saving over $300 per month.
